Romano Confirms United Have Been “Offered” 27M Rated Spanish Star

Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The reliable reporter has previously revealed that Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea have also been given the opportunity to sign the Spaniard, but it appears the Red Devils have yet to make a decision over whether to sign the fullback:

There had been claims in Spain that United were preparing a €30m (£27m) bid for Reguilon but, while Romano doesn’t go that far, it does seems that there may well be interest from the Red Devils.

The 23-year-old impressed during a loan spell at Sevilla last season, but he is not in Real Madrid’s plans for the new season with manager Zinedine Zidane having other options in the squad.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may well be keen to add Reguilon to the ranks, especially due to Luke Shaw’s injury record over the past couple of seasons.
