Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham is holding “advanced talks” with Borussia Dortmund, according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Reports in Germany in recent days had claimed that Dortmund have been having issues agreeing a fee with Birmingham for the 17-year-old, although it is thought the teenager has already agreed a long term contract with the Bundesliga club.
It was believed that this could allow Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich back into the race with Birmingham reportedly demanding between £10m and £20m for Bellingham. However, Romano insists Dortmund are still very much the favourites:
advanced talks 😉

It does appear that Bellingham is keen on following the same route Jadon Sancho made into first-team football, but there could be a silver lining for the Red Devils.
If the Birmingham starlet does secure his move to Dortmund, he could well be seen as a replacement for Sancho, with the German club likely to be more open to selling the England international.
