An all-action midfielder, the Ghanaian was seriously impressive when Atletico Madrid triumphed over Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League last month.
Partey reportedly has a €50m (£43.5m) release clause which has attracted a number of clubs, including Arsenal, and United will need to make their move fast if they want to snap up the 26-year-old.
