Manchester United are prepared to match Borussia Dortmund’s asking price for Jadon Sancho, according to the Mirror. The newspaper reports that the Red Devils won’t be put off if the German club demand in the region of £100m for the player.

The former Manchester City winger is a long term target for the club, but the midfielder opted against leaving the Bundesliga last summer in order to continue his development at Dortmund.

Sancho has been in excellent form, having scored four goals and laid on seven assists in just 13 appearances, but not everything has gone his way this season.

Dortmund suspended the 19-year-old after he reported late back from England duty earlier this month and he was not in the matchday squad for the 1-0 win against Borussia Monchengladbach last week.

Sancho did, however, return to start in the Ruhr derby on Saturday, but he was unable to help as his side drew 0-0 against Schalke.
