REPORT: United ‘Will Make’ Player Plus Cash Offer For 70M Rated La Liga Star

Manchester United “will make” a bid for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak this summer, according to the Sun.

The Red Devils are unsatisfied with their two current options, David De Gea and Dean Henderson, with it being claimed that they could even offer De Gea as part of the deal for Oblak.

It is believed that Atletico would demand as much as £70m for the Slovenian international so including a player as part of the deal would considerably lower the cost of the transfer.

However, it remains to be seen whether Atletico would accept such an offer, even though De Gea came through the La Liga side’s academy and played for their first team.

Chelsea and other teams have reportedly made approaches for Oblak in the past, and have been knocked back. Considering the 28-year-old is believed to have a €120m (£103m) release clause, Atletico are under no pressure to sell either.
