REPORT: United Make First Bid For West Ham Midfielder Declan Rice

Manchester United have made a first bid of approximately €40m (£34m) for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, according to reports in Italy.

The England international has been in excellent form for the Hammers this season, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to be targeting young homegrown talent to strengthen United’s squad this summer.

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has already indicated that Rice would be available for the right price, but we shall have to wait and see how they react to this reported offer.

Considering these reports don’t emanate from the UK, its’ probably wise to take the claims with a pinch of salt, but there have been multiple stories linking Rice with a move to Old Trafford in recent days.

In addition to the midfielder, Solskjaer is also believed to be targeting Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka as the Norwegian looks to reshape his team heading into next season.
