REPORT: United Hold Talks Over Signing £18m Rated Turkish Teenager

Manchester United have opened negotiations with Galatasaray over signing young centre-back Ozan Kabak, according to reports in Turkey.

It is reported that Galatasaray president Mustafa Cengiz flew to the UK in order to discuss terms with United.

The Super Lig side are reportedly holding out for €20m (£18m) to sell Kabak who has been a regular in the first team this season despite only being 18 years of age.

The Turkish youth international has started 14 games in all competitions this campaign, having only made his senior debut at the back end of last season, coming on for the final minutes of a 2-0 win in the league against Malatyaspor.

Kabak has also been linked with Manchester City and Arsenal in recent months, along with United, and despite his career having barely begun, he his commanding interest from right across Europe with his performances.

Manager Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen his backline in January, but he would likely prefer to sign a player more experienced than the Turkish teenager.
