Manchester United have made the “highest offer” for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to TMW.

The Italian website reports that the Red Devils have tabled a bid of €120m (£104.2m) for the England international, who has been capped 24 times by his country.

It is believed that no other team has so far made an official offer for Bellingham, although the player is said to have already given his word to Real Madrid.

The European champions have reportedly agreed personal terms with the teenager but they have yet to reach an agreement with Dortmund over the transfer fee.

The Bundesliga side are demanding €150m (£130m) but there is optimism that they will soften their stance in the coming weeks. Even so, TMW claim that Real have yet to even match United’s proposal.

While Erik ten Hag’s team are clearly outsiders in the battle for Bellingham’s signature, it seems they have made a concerted effort to sign him.
