REPORT: United Consider Raid To Sign TWO Leicester Stars As Part Of January Revamp

Manchester United are looking at making offers for Leicester pair Youri Tielemans and Caglar Soyuncu during the January transfer window, according to Fichajes.net.

The Spanish rumour mongers claim that, with both players having contracts that expire in 2023, the Foxes may well be open to selling them if they don’t sign extensions.

Tielemans reportedly rejected Leicester’s latest contract proposal earlier this month, with United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid all said to be interested in the Belgian international.

The Red Devils desperately need to improve in the middle of the park and Tielemans could be seen as a perfect addition to strengthen in the New Year.

While the Tielemans’ link seems logical, the interest in Soyuncu is rather more debatable. If manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer persists with three at the back then another centre-back may be needed but the Turkish international has had a poor start to the season and there may be better options out there.
