REPORT: United Are At The ‘Front’ Of The Queue To Sign 62M Rated Serbian Ace But They Must ‘Watch Out’ For Rival Club

Manchester United are in the “front row” to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Calciomercato.it.

The Italian website reports that the Serbian international has plenty of suitors, despite the fact that he is experiencing a mini goal drought.

Vlahovic has not scored for six games, having drawn another blank in the 1-0 win over Freiburg in the Europa League on Thursday night. It has raised concerns that Juve may have to drop their valuation this summer.

While United are among the favourites, Calciomercato claim Bayern Munich are the ones to “watch out” for if the 23-year-old’s asking price is lowered to €60m (£53m) to €70m (£62m).

Other sources have mentioned Chelsea and Arsenal as potential rivals in the race for Vlahovic, although it is hard to know at this stage which teams will firm up their interest at the end of the season.

United are known to be in the market for a new number nine and Vlahovic is likely to be on their shortlist, along with Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
