Manchester United transfer target Alexis Mac Allister will ‘100%’ complete a summer transfer from Brighton, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

Despite this, his ultimate destination is yet to be determined. United aren’t the only one in pursuit of the highly-rated Argentinian – their arch-rivals, Liverpool, are also thought to be in hot pursuit.

In Romano’s tweet, he wrote: “Understand Alexis Mac Allister and his camp consider summer move as 100% guaranteed. The expectation is for an early transfer.

“Alexis will give his best for Brighton until June. Liverpool and Man United will discuss with player side soon.”

Not only is Mac Allister dead set on leaving the south coast club, he will also do so ‘early’ in the summer window, according to Romano. Therefore, we will find out which team he chooses to sign for sooner rather than later.

Manchester United and Liverpool aren’t the only teams who are thought to be interested in acquiring Mac Allister’s services – Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle United have all been rumoured to be monitoring the World Cup winner for a potential transfer.
