REPORT: Ten Hag Targeting 34M Move For Eredivisie Star He Has ‘A Very Good Relationship’ With

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is keen on securing the services of Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus, according to SportsWorldGhana.com.

The website claim that the Red Devils boss has “a very good relationship” with the 22-year-old, who he managed for two seasons whilst at the Eredivisie champions.

Kudus is in high demand after a strong World Cup, with the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan likely to challenge United for the player’s signature.

Ajax are expected to hold out for around €40m (£34m) if United do make an approach during the January transfer window but it remains to be seen whether the Manchester club will table a bid.

While ten Hag is a fan of Kudus, he is unlikely to be a priority. The Ghanaian can be deployed as a false nine but he prefers to play in midfield, which means United may look elsewhere as they seek an out-and-out forward.
