Report Reveals When Alexis Sanchez’s Future At United Will Be Decided

Inter Milan will decide by the end of April whether they will take Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez on a permanent basis, according to the Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website claim, however, that at this stage the Nerazzurri are highly unlikely to keep the Chilean international beyond the summer with the player having struggled with fitness problems this campaign.

Sanchez has made just 13 appearances for Inter since joining the Serie A side in August, mainly due to a foot injury which kept him out for the best part of three months.

The 31-year-old has returned to first-team action over the past six weeks but manager Antonio Conte has only started him once in the league, coming in the 4-2 win over city rivals AC Milan earlier this month.

Calciomercato claim there is only two scenarios whereby Inter will trigger their purchase option. 1) They can sign Sanchez at a big discount or 2) the player has a huge upturn in his form; neither of which looks likely at the moment.
