REPORT: European Giants Weigh Up Late Transfer Swoop For Pogba, Who Could Be Sold For Below 86M

Paris Saint-Germain are considering whether to table an offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to L’Equipe.

The French publication reports that the Ligue One club are looking at Erling Haaland, Eduardo Camavinga and Pogba as three possible recruits if Kylian Mbappe does leave for Real Madrid in the final days of the transfer window.

While Camavinga would be the cheapest of the three, and Haaland the most expensive, it is believed United would be open to selling Pogba for below €100m (£86m) due to his contract situation.

Reports in Spain in recent days have claimed that the Frenchman has already decided to run down his contract at Old Trafford, with Real Madrid his expected destination.

Whether PSG would be able to change Pogba’s mind, it is not known. If Mbappe were to move to the Bernabeu, the United star would likely be more determined to make the switch to Spain next summer in order to join up with his international teammate.
