REPORT: Eric Bailly Makes Decision Over His Manchester United Future

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly will look to stay and fight for his place next season, according to the Mirror.

The Ivorian’s campaign was ended after he injured his knee in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday, but the centre-back is believed to be determined to show his worth to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in preseason when he returns to fitness.

Even when fit, Bailly has been behind the likes of Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones in the pecking order, having played just 18 games in all competitions this season.

There had been talk of a move away from Old Trafford in the summer, with Arsenal and Tottenham among the clubs that have been linked with bids for the 25-year-old.

However, it appears Bailly is keen to give his United career one more go, despite the injuries and poor form which have blighted his three years at the club so far.
