Reliable Journalist Confirms United Are “Very Much In The Running” To Sign 75M Premier League Star

Manchester United are “very much in the running” to snap up West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, according to The Guardian‘s Jacob Steinberg.

The journalist has also revealed that Arsenal are in contention to sign the England international, along with Chelsea, but he claims the Red Devils are making their own attempts to secure the player’s signature:

Rice is expected to stay with the Hammers until the end of the season but, with the London club struggling in the Premier League table, a move in the summer is almost certain.

There have been differing reports regarding the 23-year-old’s price tag. Sources close to West Ham suggest they will only accept bids in excess of £100m but others believe he could be available for just £75m.

Of course, a lot can happen between now and the summer but, with Erik ten Hag’s side flying high in the league, they will be increasingly confident that a deal for Rice can be wrapped up.
