Rashford, Martial And Bailly To Start, Lindelof And Greenwood Drop Out: United’s Predicted XI To Face The Blades

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be looking to keep his side’s unbeaten run in the league going when they face Sheffield United at Old Trafford this evening.

David De Gea is likely to return in goal after being rested for the FA Cup tie against Liverpool. Eric Bailly could well be favoured ahead of Victor Lindelof to partner Harry Maguire in the centre of defence, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw as the two fullbacks.

In midfield, Bruno Fernandes will be recalled, with Scott McTominay the likeliest to make way. Fred and Paul Pogba could be utilised in deeper roles.

With Marcus Rashford available after an injury scare, the 23-year-old may be favoured ahead of Mason Greenwood on the right flank, with Edinson Cavani keeping his place up front, and Anthony Martial coming into the team to play on the left-hand side.
