Rashford And Martinez Start, Malacia Drops Out: United’s Predicted XI To Face Bournemouth

After a positive performance against Wolves at the weekend, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will be hoping for more of the same when they take on Bournemouth this evening.

David De Gea will start in goal but there could be a change in the backline. Tyrell Malacia performed well on Saturday but ten Hag may opt to recall Lisandro Martinez, with the Argentinian partnering Raphael Varane, and Luke Shaw moving over to left-back.

There is also a decision to be made on the right flank, with Diogo Dalot back available, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka has performed well since the World Cup and he could keep his place for now.

In midfield, there is unlikely to be any changes, with Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes developing into a formidable unit.

Up front, Marcus Rashford responded well after being dropped for disciplinary reasons at Molineux. He is expected to return to the starting eleven, with Alejandro Garnacho dropping out. Anthony Martial will lead the line with Antony on the right wing.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Play Bournemouth:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Eriksen, Fernandes, Casemiro, Antony, Martial, Rashford
