Rangnick Tipped To Make Move For THIRD RB Leipzig Player Amid ‘Concerns’ About United Star

Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick is keen on bringing in RB Leipzig defender Nordi Mukiele during the January transfer window, according to 90min.com.

The website claims that Mukiele is being targeted due to “concerns” about Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whose form has taken a nosedive this season.

Mukiele is the third RB Leipzig to be linked with a move to Old Trafford in the last couple of days, with Amadou Haidara and Christopher Nkunku also having been mentioned as targets.

Rangnick will reportedly work closely with football director John Murtough to sign players next month, despite the fact that he is only in charge until the summer.

Mukiele can be deployed either as a right-back or centre-back with the Frenchman having been a regular starter under manager Jesse Marsch this campaign.

He was previously linked with Liverpool before they made a move for his teammate, Ibrahima Konate, instead, while Arsenal are believed to have considered him as a potential replacement for Hector Bellerin before they snapped up Takehiro Tomiyasu.
