Projected Line-Up To Face Bournemouth

Projected Line-Up To Face Bournemouth

Well Manchester United have certainly had their share of serious injuries this year with Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia at the top of that list. It is certainly not an easy task for under fire manager Louis Van Gaal to select an XI to face Bournemouth which has enough experience to handle the task. This is the first League meeting between the two sides with their other 8 meetings having come in Cup competitions. Captain Wayne Rooney is also still out after getting injured a few weeks ago vs Premier League high-flyers Leicester City.

United went out of the Champions League in the week after losing to Wolfsburg 3-2 in Germany sending the red devils into the Europa League a competition they have not done well in traditionally. It seems that Chris Smalling, Matteo Darmian, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones are also out injured so it really is a patchwork side that LVG will be putting out. Bastian Schweinsteiger is also out having been suspended for 3 games for elbowing Winston Reid vs West Ham by the football association.

We see the line-up looking like this…

—————————De Gea———————————-

——–Young—-McNair—-Blind—-Borthwick-Jackson—-

——————-Fellaini——- Schneiderlin——————-

————–Lingard—–Mata—–Depay———————–

—————————Martial———————————-

Hopefully Anthony Martial can take advantage of his start in the centre of attack and deliver a few much needed goals not to mention a much needed win.
