Premier League teams pride themselves on attacking ability and quality in front of goal which makes it one of the most competitive leagues in world football. 

However, many of the top teams this season have been able to create chances but not make the most of their biggest opportunities which could have a big impact on points.

The difference between a win and a draw or a loss can be so minor that it comes down to the odd one or two chances in a game.

For example, last weekend, Manchester United and Chelsea both had opportunities to win at Stamford Bridge but neither could capitalise which resulted in a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal failed to take their chances against Newcastle as they had just one shot on target from 10 shots which contributed to a damaging 1-0 loss at St James’ Park.
