Seamus Coleman – RB (Sligo Rovers to Everton -£60k – 2009)
There is no doubt that the Irishman has proven to be excellent value for money, having arrived for a tiny fee from his home country in the middle of the 2008/09 season.
Coleman went on to captain the Toffees, and he has now accrued 366 appearances over the thirteen years he has spent at Goodison Park. The fullback is still going strong at 33 years of age.
