Possible Departures Vs Future Arrivals

Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Wigan proved that Mourinho has made the right decisions up until now. Signing Mkhitaryan was a brilliant move as the former Borussia Dortmund man looked ready to deliver and seemed to have found his place on the pitch immediately. The problem is that Mata was great as a No.10 as well. The Spaniard who was cast away by the Special One while at Chelsea could find himself in the same position and despite good performances he might leave. While he would represent a high-profile trading asset, Mata insists he is here to stay.

According to the Telegraph, the second player who is doubting his Manchester United future is Marcos Rojo.

. He is apparently wanted by Eric Bailly’s former team Villarreal which has maintained a good relationship with the Devils and might get a good price for Rojo. The biggest surprise on the possible departures list is none other than Bastian Schweinsteiger. The 31-year-old is wanted in Turkey where Besiktas are ready to start negotiating a loan deal. It might be a good chance for the World Cup winner to get some more time on the pitch given what happened last year.

In terms of transfers everyone expects one or two more moves from Mourinho. The Portuguese boss admitted to have landed 3 out of 4 targets with the possibility of extending that limit with one more. Pogba emerged as the front-runner for the 4th spot but that thought is quite hard to turn into reality as Juventus insist on holding out for 100million or keeping the Frenchman.

While everyone expects Pogba, a less known player might be the last transfer of the summer for United. Monaco’s Fabinho is rumored to be on the transfer list. The 22-year-old would cost around £15million which would be a decent amount if he does prove to become the one to replace Dani Alves in Brazil’s side. He would provide great competition for Darmian who for now is the first pick for the right-back position.
