Poll- Who Do You Want To Be United’s Next Permanent Manager?

Well after the summer spending spree at Old Trafford and the much hyped return of Cristiano Ronaldo, much was expected of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his revamped squad but the Norwegian manager was relieved of his duties on Sunday. The question is now who will be United’s next permanent manager

Despite the end of the much publicised pursuit of Jaden Sancho with the England youngster joining United from Dortmund and the signing of serial winner and French World Cup winning centre-back Raphael Varane, Solskjaer has struggled all season to work out what his best team was leading to a series of terrible results topped off with the miserable 4-1 defeat to Watford.

After terrible early losses to Young Boys, Aston Villa, West Ham and Leicester City the United legend was given more time by the board and the 3-0 win over Spurs seemed to suggest the team was improving but then 3 catastrophic losses to Liverpool 5-0 at home followed by losing to City 2-0 at home and the 4-1 away loss to Watford meant the United hierarchy had no choice but to remove the Norwegian manager.

With some press outlets suggesting United will only be looking to appoint an interim manager like Laurent Blanc to the end of the season with Michael Carrick currently in temporary charge for the upcoming away games vs Villareal in the Champions League and Chelsea in the Premier League, the question is who do you really want as the next permanent boss?
