Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has hailed the contributions of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood following the team’s impressive form in recent weeks.

The Red Devils have hit their stride since the restart and are closing in on a top-four finish, while Pogba has put in a number of good performances following his return from a long term injury.

However, the Frenchman was keen to highlight the displays of four of his teammates:

“I’m enjoying just watching Bruno, Rashford, Martial and Mason, who all played the last game, and seeing them score goals. You just keep applauding, it’s beautiful… they make me enjoy football every time!”

“As well though there is the defensive work that people don’t talk about – they do it. The pressing – they do it… that’s what you maybe don’t see that much.”

There is certainly a feelgood factor around Old Trafford at the moment and, while Fernandes was certainly the spark after his arrival in January, other players like Greenwood and Martial have certainly stepped up to the plate as well.

With five games left, including this evening’s match against Aston Villa, Pogba and his team will be keen to ensure this excellent run of results doesn’t go to waste. Finishing in the top four is now a very realistic prospect.
