Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani waved to the Old Trafford crowd after the 3-1 win over Burnley on Thursday night.
The Uruguayan international has been heavily linked with Barcelona and a return to South America with Corinthians in recent weeks. Fans on Twitter are concerned that the forward may have been saying goodbye:

At the moment, the reports about Cavani leaving are coming from Spain and Brazil, rather than any reliable sources in the UK, but the speculation is pretty strong, suggesting there may be something in it.
There was some talk about the 34-year-old moving clubs last summer, following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, but it seems that manager Ralf Rangnick is prepared to partner them up front.
If the amount of game time isn’t the problem, then it may be that Cavani simply wants to leave England. While it’s probably best not to read too much into the hand gesture, the Uruguayan’s future remains firmly up in the air.
