Manchester United are pressing ahead with plans to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer, according to reports in the French media.
It is believed that manager Erik ten Hag has prioritised a move for the 28-year-old who is out of contract at the end of the season.
The Red Devils tried to sign Rabiot last year but the deal collapsed after failing to agree personal terms, and fans on Twitter are split on whether making a second attempt to secure the player’s signature is a good idea:

Rabiot’s form has improved markedly this season, and he was one of France’s standout performers at the World Cup as they made it to the final in Qatar.
However, the midfielder has always been a rather controversial figure, which is mainly down to his mother and agent, Veronique, whose tough negotiation tactics are said to have caused his switch to United to stall originally.
Most of the ‘Big Six’, including Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal have been mentioned as potential suitors for Rabiot in recent months but it appears that United are leading the battle to snap him up currently.
