Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson put in a standout display despite England losing 2-1 to France in the Under 21 Championships yesterday evening.
The 22-year-old saved a penalty from Moussa Dembele, as well as making a number of eye-catching saves on the night.
Fans on Twitter don’t want Henderson to go out on loan next season and want him to fight for a first-team place at Old Trafford:
Perfect Replacement for De Gea

He shouldn’t be loaned. He must stay and fight the n1 spot.

Much may depend on David De Gea. The Spaniard has one year left on his contract and it remains to be seen whether he stays at the club beyond the summer transfer window.
If United choose to keep him even if he chooses to run down his deal, then Henderson may be best served going out on loan for one more year, before coming back to contest the number one spot.
A return to Sheffield United is still the likeliest option, having helped the Blades to promotion from the Championship last campaign.
