Manchester United are interested in West Ham defender Issa Diop, according to reports in the UK.
The Frenchman is valued at £60m by the Hammers and they are not willing to listen to offers for below that amount this summer.
United are apparently prepared to offer £45m for Diop, as well as including a player in the deal.
Fans on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the news of the club’s interest in the 22-year-old:

What's going on in this world of football
£45 million
Not sure about this deal
Its way too much with the risk and pressure on him for the price tag
Haven't seen much of him pic.twitter.com/S6SQErdtJV— Pogba_Junior ⚽⚽ (@PogbaJunior_) 15 June 2019

I watched him play last season. It will be good signing.

Premier League is way too inflated should look elsewhere.

There’s no doubt that Diop is a promising young defender, and the centre-back certainly impressed Jose Mourinho when United came up against him last season.
However, he cost West Ham £22m just a year ago, and many feel that the Red Devils should be scouting these players earlier before they secure moves to the Premier League.
Diop has also not been blemish-free during his first year in England, with the Irons having conceded 55 goals last season; one more than United.
