Official: FIFA 16 Manchester United Player Ratings

EA Sports have announced this years official player ratings for their new upcoming game FIFA 16, which is to be released this month.

All players in the game have been re-evaluated and judged on how well they performed last season, they have been given a score out of 99 which is based on their ability.

This year, along with almost every year, Lionel Messi remains the highest rated player in the game – rated 94. He is followed by Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo who is rated 93.

For United, they have seen several players upgraded from last years FIFA 15. The likes of De Gea, Darmian and Depay have had their abilities boosted due to their rise in form over the past year. However, it’s not such a similar story for Schweinsteiger and Mata, who surprisingly have seen their ratings dropped.

Here’s Manchester United’s official player ratings for FIFA 16:

Schweinsteiger 86
Rooney 86
De Gea 86
Mata 84
Valdes 82
Schneiderlin 82
Depay 81
Darmian 81
Rojo 81
Herrera 81
Blind 80
Jones 80
Young 80
Carrick 80
Valencia 79
Smalling 79
Fellaini 78
Shaw 77
Martial 77
Romero 76
Varela 63

Do you agree with these ratings? Who should be upgraded/ downgraded?

Though ratings on a game mean very little to actual real-life ability, it’s always nice to get a general view on how good a player is, and what their strengths and weaknesses are.
