Manchester United are lining up moves for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz and Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller in the January transfer window, according to the Mirror.
The newspaper reports that Havertz could cost in excess of £85m while the Red Devils are confident of signing Muller for closer to £40m with the forward having fallen out of favour at the Allianz Arena.
Supporters on Twitter would be happy to see the club make a move for Havertz, but they are less keen on recruiting his compatriot:
Not happening.

At 30 years of age, Muller is certainly not within the age bracket that United are said to be targeting, but he may solve a short-term problem in the frontline.
In contrast, Havertz would solve the club’s lack of goals and creativity in midfield, whilst also being the right age at 20. It would be a huge achievement if they did manage to secure the German international, who is also reportedly being pursued by Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
