‘Not Happening’ ‘They Have Zero Money To Afford This Deal’ United Fans Dismiss Claims As Club Consider “Late Proposal” For Ronaldo

Borussia Dortmund are considering whether to make a “late proposal” for Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs.

The reporter claims that the Bundesliga side are weighing up whether to make an offer for the Portuguese legend before the end of the month:

Supporters on Twitter are rather frustrated by the speculation surrounding Ronaldo and many have dismissed these latest claims about a potential transfer:

Reports suggest that Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered the 37-year-old to a number of clubs, including Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and Napoli.

However, so far, no team has decided to make an offer. If Dortmund also opt against stepping up their interest, it looks almost certain that Ronaldo will remain at Old Trafford. Whether that is a good thing, it is open for debate.

Keeping an unsettled player can harm morale, but it would be hoped that Ronaldo would accept the situation and get on with playing football.
