“No Interest” Report Claims United Will Allow Chelsea And Liverpool To Fight It Out Over French Midfield Maestro

Manchester United hold “no interest” in Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils were mentioned as a potential suitor for the 21-year-old back in August but it is believed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are looking at other options.

Tchouameni has a relatively modest asking price with numerous reports claiming he will be sold by Monaco if they receive a bid in the region of €40m (£34m).

Chelsea have been scouting the France international for a number of months, and they are believed to be favourites for the player’s signature. However, there is interest from other teams as well.

Liverpool and Juventus are also said to be keeping close tabs on Tchouameni, who was one of Monaco’s standout performers last season, as the Ligue One side finished third.

While United may not be considering a move for Tchouameni, though, it is thought that a bid for West Ham’s Declan Rice next summer is still on the cards.
