Manchester United youngsters Mason Greenwood and James Garner have been pictured taking part in first-team training today before Jose Mourinho‘s side fly to Spain for tomorrow night’s Champions League game against Valencia.
The Red Devils have already qualified for the knockout rounds, and it seems that they will use the opportunity to give run-outs to some of their younger players.
Supporters on Twitter are hoping Greenwood, in particular, gets to make his senior debut at the Mestalla:
Yes, Greenwood is training ahead of Champions league fixture. I pray he starts. That boy is next Van Persie?Great future

The 17-year-old was the top goalscorer in the Under 18 Premier League last season and is an exciting young prospect. He has also impressed in the UEFA Youth League this campaign having scored five goals in five games in the competition so far.
Whether Mourinho will give Greenwood a runout, it’s difficult to tell. United could still top the group if they beat Valencia and Juventus fail to win against Young Boys in the other match.
