New Twist Emerges Amid Reports United Have Been Offered Varane’s 68.5M Rated Teammate

Manchester United have not been offered Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr as part of the negotiations for Raphael Varane, according to Goal Spain journalist Mario Cortegana.

There have been reports in the English press in recent days that claimed that Real were willing to discuss a double deal with the Red Devils.

In addition to Varane, it was said that the La Liga side were willing to sell Vinicius for around £68.5m but United were reluctant to pay the fee, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side more open to a loan deal.


However, Goal Spain report that this is incorrect. The Brazilian, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool in the past, is believed to be happy at the Bernabeu, while Real president Florentino Perez is also reportedly content to keep the 21-year-old.

At the moment It appears that Varane will be the only player moving between the Spanish club and United this summer.
