Ex-Manchester United defender Gary Neville believes his former club are battling Chelsea to finish fourth this season.

The TV pundit does not believe Arsenal have what it takes to seal a Champions League spot, and he is confident Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side will be Chelsea’s main challengers:

“Arsenal will end up sixth and it’s between Manchester United and Chelsea for fourth and fifth.”

After the weekend’s results, it does look as though United have the momentum behind them to get a top-four finish.

The 1-0 win over Leicester City demonstrated the team’s resilience and determination to get the three points. In stark contrast, Arsenal slumped to a 3-1 away defeat to Manchester City.

Although Chelsea did hammer Huddersfield 5-0 on Saturday, they previously lost 4-0 to Bournemouth and face City next weekend at the Etihad.

With United just two points behind the Blues, and facing relegation strugglers Fulham next up in the league, the Red Devils could well find themselves sitting in fourth place after the next round of fixtures.
