Neville Explains A Key Difference Between Solskjaer And Every United Manager Since Ferguson

Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has brought back the three central tenets of the club’s philosophy.

The former right-back says in just one month the Norwegian has brought back fast, attacking, entertaining football, as well as bringing through young players, and building a winning mentality.

Neville feels David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho instead brought in their own ideas and that should never happen again:

“No one should ever be allowed to enter Manchester United Football Club ever again and adopt a different philosophy to the one the club has.”

“What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done in a month, irrespective of the how the club do this season has shown Manchester United that.”

Solskjaer’s six wins from his first six games have seen him shoot to the top of favourites to become United’s next permanent manager. There is no doubt he has brought out the best in players like Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof during his short time in charge.

The victory against Tottenham was particularly impressive, displaying a fast, mobile front three that troubled Spurs throughout the game. Next up, they face Brighton at home on Saturday afternoon as they look to close the gap on the top four.
