Manchester United have made Napoli striker Victor Osimhen a priority target for the summer transfer window, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The journalist claims that the Nigerian international is a “more attractive” option than Tottenham’s Harry Kane:
❗️News #Kane: Been told that #MUFC is not seriously considering a transfer of Kane at this stage. The total financial package should be too expensive for the 29 y/o. #Osimhen is more attractive for ManUtd. And: No hot contact between Bayern & Kane at the moment. @SkySportDE 🏴 pic.twitter.com/B5tOGsgNJq

Osimhen is expected to be in high demand, after scoring 21 goals in all competitions this season. In addition to United, it is believed that Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germin are also pursuing the forward.
Erik ten Hag’s side will need to pay close to their transfer record in order to secure Osimhen’s signature, with Napoli expected to demand at least €100m (£88m) for the player.
Of course, any deal could be complicated by the ownership situation. United’s owners are currently in the process of assessing bids, along with investment bank the Raine Group. If a deal is agreed before the summer, though, it should allow the club to go all in on Osimhen.
