Manchester United have made their first official bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, according to reports in the German media.
The Red Devils are believed to have tabled an offer in the region of £60m (€69.5m) but Dortmund are expected to hold out for at least €90m.
With Chelsea and Liverpool also said to be interested in Sancho, some supporters on Twitter are worried that they may lose out on the 21-year-old if talks drag on for too long:
I might as well put a bid in for a tenner

It has been reported that Sancho has already agreed personal terms with United so supporters shouldn’t be too concerned about the speed of negotiations.
Whether the Manchester club will be able to lower Dortmund’s asking price, it remains to be seen, but it is certainly a very good sign that they have made a bid so early on in the transfer window. We shall see over the coming days how things develop.
