McTominay In For Matic: United’s Predicted Starting Line Up To Face Brighton

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will likely field a similar eleven to the one that saw off Sheffield United when they face Brighton tomorrow night.

In defence, Eric Bailly and Diogo Dalot looked rusty against Norwich at the weekend, so it is almost guaranteed that Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will come back into the side.

Although he didn’t have his best game at Carrow Road, Scott McTominay may retain his place in central midfield, ahead of Nemanja Matic, with Paul Pogba set to replace Fred.

Bruno Fernandes wasn’t particularly great on Saturday either but the Portuguese will be forgiven for having one poor game, and he’s expected to line up in the most advanced midfield role.

Up front, Solskjaer will likely revert to the deadly trio of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, despite Odion Ighalo getting on the scoresheet versus Norwich.

Manchester United’ Predicted XI To Play Brighton:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Fernandes, Pogba, Greenwood, Martial, Rashford
