Matic And Shaw To Start, McTominay And Williams Out: United’s Predicted XI To Face Sheffield United

Manchester United face a difficult trip to Bramall Lane tomorrow as they face a Sheffield United team that are performing way above expectations this season.

Chris Wilder’s side are currently fifth in the table, a point ahead of the Red Devils, and it will certainly be a stern test for the away team who are still struggling with injury problems.

They will, though, be able to welcome back Luke Shaw. The 24-year-old has been out since August due to a hamstring injury and could replace Brandon Williams in the starting line up on Sunday.

In midfield, with Scott McTominay out with an ankle injury, and Nemanja Matic having returned to fitness, it looks almost certain that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will make a straight swap between the two players.

Other than that, the United boss may not want to make any further changes to the team that won convincingly against Brighton before the international break.

Solskjaer will be hoping that the front three of Daniel James, Anthony Martial and the in-form Marcus Rashford will have the firepower to break down a defence which is the second-best in the league at the moment.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Sheffield United:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Matic, Pereira, Matic, James, Martial, Rashford
