Manchester United are gearing up to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, as the Red Devils look to solidify their spot in the top four of the Premier League.

United are set to be without Lisandro Martinez, Phil Jones, Scott McTominay, Tom Heaton, Donny Van De Beek and Raphael Varane for their game against Wolves. Outside of this, Erik Ten Hag’s men have no new injury concerns.

In their last game, Manchester United were beaten by David Moyes’ West Ham United by a score of 1-0. A horrible error from David De Gea saw an effort from Said Benrahma slip through his fingers – United failed to find a response and slumped to a disappointing defeat.

Meanwhile, Wolves were victorious in their last game, as they overcame Aston Villa in a tense Midlands derby. Toti opened the scoring early on with a header from a set-piece – this stunned Unai Emery’s team, giving Wolves the derby day bragging rights.

When the two teams last came to blows, back in December, United came away with a narrow 1-0 victory. It was no more than they deserved – they were the better team on the day, finally making the breakthrough in the 76th minute thanks to a strike from Marcus Rashford.
