Manchester United are back at Old Trafford this week as they welcome Southampton on Thursday night.
The Red Devils come off the back of two very encouraging results, with a 2-2 draw to league leaders Liverpool at the start of January, and then an FA Cup win against Arsenal on penalties last weekend.
United took the lead against the Gunners thanks to a goal from Bruno Fernandes in the 52nd minute, before Arsenal equalised thanks to a goal from Gabriel just 11 minutes later.
Diogo Dalot was sent off just before Arsenal’s goal, but 10-man United were able to hold the Gunners at bay and last the 120 minutes to take the game to a shootout, they then won, and will now face Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester City in the next round.
They play a Southampton side who sit bottom of the Premier League table, having had just one win from their opening 20 matches.
