Manchester United Vs Chelsea Team News, Betting Odds And Where To Watch

Manchester United face their first Premier League game since Erik Ten Hag was sacked on Monday.

The Red Devils host Chelsea on Sunday afternoon as they aim to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after last weekend’s 2-1 defeat to West Ham which saw Erik Ten Hag sacked.

Ruben Amorim has been confirmed as the new United manager, but he won’t take charge until November 11th during the international break.

That means that Ruud Van Nistelrooy will be in charge against Chelsea on Sunday after his first game as interim manager on Wednesday in a 5-2 win over Leicester City.

They line up against a Chelsea side who beat Newcastle in their last Premier League game 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. However, they faced the same Newcastle side on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup and lost 2-0 at St James’ Park.

Manchester United still have several names that are expected to miss Sunday’s game at Old Trafford with Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and four more that won’t be available against Chelsea.

Chelsea narrowly backed to beat United in close odds

Manchester United face a lot of uncertainty as it will still have been less than a week without Erik Ten Hag at the helm when they face Chelsea.

The Blues are expected to win, but very narrowly. According to Oddshecker, Chelsea are backed to win at 13/8 giving them a 38% chance of victory. Whereas, Manchester United are backed at 17/10 to win (37%) and a draw is backed at 29/10 (25.6%).

We predict a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in a game which should be one of the highlights of the weekend in the Premier League.
