Manchester United eased through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a comfortable 7-0 win over League One side Barnsley on Tuesday night. 

The Red Devils netted seven times with braces from Marcus Rahsford, Alejandro Garnacho and Christian Eriksen. There was also a first start for new signing Manuel Ugarte who made his debut over the weekend in United’s 3-0 win over Southampton.

Erik Ten Hag will be delighted with how his side played on Tuesday night and hopes to continue that form into the weekend when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
