Manchester United V West Brom: Match Preview And Betting Odds

Manchester United’s win against Everton in their last fixture gave manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a lifeline, but he will need to build on that victory after the international break if he is to stay in his job.

The Red Devils face a West Brom team this weekend who have not won any of their eight games since returning to the top flight, with the Baggies drawing three and losing five so far.

In terms of team news, United do have a number of injury doubts heading into the match at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford is expected to recover from a shoulder injury in time but there are doubts over the likes of Mason Greenwood (illness), Victor Lindelof (back), Jesse Lingard (knock) and Anthony Martial (back).

Luke Shaw (hamstring), Phil Jones (knee) and Eric Bailly are all still sidelined. The participation of Alex Telles also remains in doubt following a positive and negative virus test whilst on international duty with Brazil.

West Brom boss Slaven Bilic has three players (Matheus Pereira, Callum Robinson, Branislav Ivanovic) sidelined after positive tests, while Hal Robson-Kanu (elbow) and Sam Field (knee) are both ruled out.

The bookmakers have made United the favourites with William Hill currently pricing them at 1/3 for the win. A draw is 23/5 with Unibet while a Baggies victory is 10/1 at 888 Sport.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to United
