Manchester United V Tottenham: Preview And Betting Odds

Manchester United swatted aside Brighton in the Carabao Cup midweek, and it was certainly a lot easier than the hair-raising 3-2 win at the Amex last weekend.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be expecting improvement when they go up against a Tottenham side on Sunday who will be playing their fourth game in eight days.

In terms of team news, there is a slight doubt over the fitness of Bruno Fernandes who has missed training due to a thigh injury. Harry Maguire should, though, be in contention despite picking up a knock on his ankle.

Axel Tuanzebe is still building up his fitness following his own ankle problem, while Phil Jones is quite a few weeks away from returning to action after a knee injury.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has doubts over Son Heung-Min (thigh) and Giovani Lo Celso (muscular), while Gareth Bale has been ruled out due to a knee issue.

The bookies have United as favourites with Betfred pricing them at 19/20 for the win. A draw is 14/5 with Betfair while a Tottenham victory is 31/10 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 0-0
