Manchester United V Chelsea: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

The loss to Arsenal at the weekend means Manchester United’s chances of finishing in the top four are now very low indeed.

They will be facing a Chelsea team tomorrow who themselves don’t exactly have much to play for, with their scrappy win against West Ham on Sunday cementing their position in third.

In terms of team news, manager Ralf Rangnick has ruled out captain Harry Maguire (knee), Jadon Sancho (illness), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (knock) and Fred (muscular), while Paul Pogba (calf) and Luke Shaw (leg) are still on the treatment table.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Chelsea:

De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Telles, Matic, Fernandes, McTominay, Elanga, Ronaldo, Rashford

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has six injury concerns heading into the game at Old Trafford. Reece James (hamstring), Andreas Christensen (illness) and Antonio Rudiger (muscular) could be back in contention but Mateo Kovacic (ankle), Ross Barkley (illness), Callum Hudson-Odoi (Achilles) and Ben Chilwell (knee) are all unavailable.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI:

Mendy, James, Chalobah, Silva, Rudiger, Alonso, Loftus-Cheek, Kante, Mount, Havertz, Werner

The bookmakers have made Chelsea the favourites with Ladbrokes pricing them at 5/4 for the win. A draw is 13/5 with Unibet while a victory for United is 11/5 at Bet 365.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to Chelsea
