Manchester United V Burnley: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be delighted by how things have gone since the last international break. The Red Devils have now won five games in a row following the victory over Granada on Thursday night.

They face a Burnley side at Old Trafford tomorrow who have been pretty inconsistent recently. Sean Dyche’s team have lost their last two matches against Southampton and Newcastle but, before that, they had won at Everton and drawn with both Leicester and Arsenal.

In terms of team news, United are still waiting to see whether Eric Bailly will be available after a positive virus test. Anthony Martial and Phil Jones (both knee) have been ruled out:

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Play Burnley:

Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, Fernandes, McTominay, Greenwood, Cavani, Pogba

The Clarets have fitness doubts over Nick Pope (shoulder) and Kevin Long (calf), while Jay Rodriguez (paternity leave), Robbie Brady (Achilles) and Ashley Barnes (thigh) are unavailable.

Burnley’s Predicted XI:

Peacock-Farrell, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Pieters, Gudmundsson, Westwood, Brownhill, McNeil, Wood, Vydra

The bookies have United as the strong favourites with Betway pricing them at 3/8 for the win. A draw is 4/1 with Betfred while a Burnley victory is 9/1 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to United
