Manchester United V Bournemouth – Team News And Predicted XI

Manchester United will be boosted by their 2-1 win over Everton last weekend, and with 6 days preparation, they should be fresh to face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium tomorrow.

The same could not be said for the Cherries who came through a tight encounter against Norwich City on Tuesday to make it through to the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.

United do still have a number of injury concerns heading into the game on the South coast. Captain Antonio Valencia is still a doubt. The Ecuadorian has not been in training due to surgery on his mouth a couple of weeks ago.

Marouane Fellaini is still out with a groin injury, while Diego Dalot, Phil Jones and Scott McTominay are all out of contention. It remains to be seen whether Alexis Sanchez will be fit enough to feature tomorrow afternoon.

The Chilean has been suffering with a groin issue that kept him out of last week’s win over Everton.

For Bournemouth, captain Simon Francis tweaked his groin against Norwich and will be assessed by the club’s medical team ahead of the game against United.

Josh King is also a doubt. The forward has been playing with an ankle problem he picked up whilst playing for Norway last month, and was rested for the Carabao Cup game. Whether he’ll be fit enough to start tomorrow, it remains to be seen.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI to face Bournemouth

De Gea, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Pogba, Matic, Fred, Mata, Rashford, Martial

Bournemouth’s Predicted XI
